With such successful songs as ‘Tungunako dhunma’, all huge hit, under his belt, Yuvraj Chaulagain, probably one of the best things to happen to Nepali adhunik and Sufi music in recent times. Having established his credentials with different albums and Nepali film, this time round has deviated significantly from the type of music that has brought him to the limelight. Known for his classical sufi style, he has now incorporated and emphasized quite a lot of pop and folk flavored tunes.

As a singer Yuvraj is very talented .I have known him for a very long time. As far as I know him, he is gentle and very polite. He is a good person and a good singer. I have found him to be very cheerful. He has never done any wrong to me or in front of me. He respects his seniors. As an artist, I find him to be flawless in what he does. He has a classical base for which shall take him to the long way. His vocal range and singing style is amazing. I see him improving a lot and I am sure that he will definitely understand a lot. I find lots of follower of veteran singers or even more inspired but I find originality in Yuvraj’s voice. He has a capacity to be a fine playback singer also.

 

 

Udesh Shrestha (singer)
I feel proud to be one of Yuvraj’s best friends.  As far as I know him, he is very good and frank person and also very helpful. He is a very talented singer. The throwing of his voice is amazing. His each song is awesome and different from each other. I think, singing is a gift for him from god. It’s been long time of our friendship. Yuvraj is that person who understands and respect music. One thing is that, he should take care of his health. Other, he is a very hard working guy. He’s very frank.  He is planning for his new album. I wish him all the best!

 

Sanjaya Chaudhary (singer)
We share a very good relationship. The depth in his vocal is tremendously nice. I consider him a very good singer. His voice quality is excellent. It has depth. He is very down to earth. He had got lot knowledge of music and he shares that with us also. He goes deep within the words and gets the true feel while singing. It may be because he has a good knowledge of music. He is very serious and passionate about music. He has a good future in playback singing as well. But I think, Yuvraj should not make a long gap for his new album. I wish him luck throughout his career in music.
